- Named Projet Mauricie self-generation: ~800 MW onshore wind (~120–125 turbines) plus ~200 MW solar PV (~1 GW total) to supply the Shawinigan electrolyzer, with power returned to Hydro-Québec at peak demand. Hydro-Québec grid covers about one-third of plant power. May produce with construction 2027 and turbines on stream end 2029. Extra electricity desk.
