Description
Oil Sands SAGD bitumen blended with condensate and butane from Foster Creek, Christina Lake (including former MEG Christina Lake North after the 13 Nov 2025 acquisition / 1 Jan 2026 amalgamation), Sunrise and Lloydminster thermal. 2025 AIF: principal markets for crude oil production from the Oil Sands and Conventional segments include Lloydminster refining; Toledo and Lima in Ohio; Superior in Wisconsin; sales at Hardisty and Edmonton terminals in Alberta, the Burnaby terminal in British Columbia, the U.S. Gulf Coast (USGC) and the U.S. Midwest (PADD II). Bitumen is blended with condensate and butane and used as crude oil feedstock by Cenovus refining. Distribution includes Flanagan South, Keystone, the Trans Mountain Pipeline expansion and other pipelines to third parties at PADD II, the USGC and Canada’s West Coast. Not a refined-fuels grade. MEG is not a separate supplier.
