About Source Desk

Mission

Source Desk is the reference index for Canadian supply that can leave the country.

If a company in Canada can make it, grow it, catch it, refine it, assemble it, or pack it, and it can move through a Pacific, Atlantic, or Great Lakes gate, it belongs in this index. That includes a finished piece from a small shop, a branded lot from a mid-size plant, and a bulk mineral from a mine. Mills are one kind of desk. They are not the index. The size of the seller is not the point. The point is that a buyer somewhere else can find the supplier and ask for a price.

We intend this to be the gold standard of that reference. Not the loudest catalogue. Not a ranked marketplace. An index a procurement officer can trust: who ships what from Canada, from which desk, through which gate.

Why the index exists

Canada already produces what the world buys — food, forest products, seafood, fuels, metals, machinery, electronics, finished goods, and commodities that never make a headline. Those suppliers are real. They are not always findable if the buyer is not already in the trade.

Trade routes that used to be automatic are less so. When a southbound path gets expensive or uncertain, Canadian supply still has to reach a buyer. Source Desk is built so that buyer does not have to speak the local shorthand, know the firm by name, or sit in North America.

Find a Canadian supplier. Ask for a price.

Who it is for

A buyer outside Canada who needs a product and a quote.

A Canadian supplier, manufacturer, shop, or export desk that can ship and will answer.

We do not sell stars. We do not sell the contact list. Public RFQ cards show desk, quantity, destination, and a short snippet. The original message goes to staff or to a claimed company.

Eleven languages

English is not the language of every buyer who can settle in Canadian dollars or another currency.

Source Desk is built to work in eleven languages so a non-native English speaker can search, read a supplier card, and send a request without waiting on a translator: English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Hindi, Arabic, Bengali, Indonesian, Urdu, and Russian.

The product names and the gates stay clear. The request still reaches a Canadian desk.

What success looks like

Assist trade with Canada. Raise demand for the Canadian dollar. Add measurable weight to Canada’s GDP.

Those are not slogans on top of the index. They are the reason to keep the index accurate. Every confirmed supplier, every answered RFQ, every shipment that starts from a Canadian gate is the work. The gold standard is a buyer in another language and another timezone who can source Canada without a middleman telling them who to call.

Who operates it

Source Desk is designed and operated by Trust The Wolf Tech Services Corp., a federally incorporated Canadian company (Federal corporation number 1770193-4), incorporated 16 February 2026 under the Canada Business Corporations Act.

Registered office:

116-5100 Anderson Way, Suite 312
Vernon, British Columbia V1T 0C4

Jurisdictions: Federal Canada · British Columbia (home province) · extra-provincial registration in Ontario.

The same shop builds and runs the software, the index, and the claim/RFQ desks. If you need the same kind of build for your own export or supplier directory, that work lives at trustthewolf.com. trustthewolf.com.

The mission of the index is Canadian supply, findable and quotable. The mission of the operator is to keep the desks working.
